To make a diagnosis:

I will listen to your symptoms, ask some additional questions, examine you and then discuss the diagnosis, investigation and treatment plan.

Regarding the examination, I will need to examine all of the joint areas giving you pain, stiffness, tenderness and/or are swollen.

I may need to examine your heart, lungs, abdomen or nervous system.

How can I help you?

I can assess your symptoms and make a diagnosis. I may need to organise some investigations to confirm a diagnosis.

I can prescribe appropriate medications to control or cure your symptoms.

I can give you appropriate advice (including written advice) regarding your condition to aid treatment and ease or settle your symptoms.

I can inject any joints that require injection to ease your joint pain and /or swelling.
